Yeah, in the end, mechanics really don't matter. Risus is a great little game for low overhead. Some people like mechanics, some like story. I'm guilty of running ShadowRun diceless.

The most fun I ever had as a GM was in systems with minimum rules. I like ultra-cinematic games heavy on storyline.

My favorite way to run a game was with GURPS lite and custom wildcard (bang!) skills.

At first, I was afraid this approach would make things too easy for the PCs, but in the end, the felt adequately harried.

I don't get offended. Not entirely sure if I could get offended. A bit hurt on occasion, but that fades like bee stings.

I like to know where my writing stands, without the cruxification, glossing over or kiss-assing that I usually find from friends and family. I love honest answers, be it that someone likes it or that they hate it. It makes it easier to get that when people aren't emotionally attached to you.

I'm glad you enjoyed the critique.

We all think we suck, until someone tells us we do, then we get offended.

It's nice to have some fresh blood in the group.
