After dragging her heavy chest to the mile marker outside her father's tower, Kanéko finds out that her lies have dragged her further into deception when she meetings up with Garèo, a native brought in to teach her the ways of the desert.
Recovering from the explosion in the stable, Kanéko realizes her father is going to take away her tools while she is on her trip. Desperate to keep going, she decides to do the only thing she could think of: hide them.
