Trying out something new

I was messing around with some things and I decided to get distracted by the wonderful things going on with Twitter. Plus, my brain was a little fuzzy. One of the things I saw was Crowd Favorite moved their Social WordPress plugin over to GitHub. Now, I never tried Social before, but I can't cross-post over to Facebook right now, so I figured I'd try it out.

Apparently, Social also pulls in @replies and Facebook comments back into the main blog, which sounds cool.

I'll admit, I mainly like social networks if I still only have a single place to make posts. I'm waiting for the Diaspora API to allow for it. And probably Google+, but I'm still a triffle annoyed with their lack of handles ("real names only" annoys me because I can't maintain bylines and "Moonfire" is an uncommon last name).
